Looks like Skepta doesn’t have any plans on slowing down just yet, as the ‘Boy Better Know’ representative has just announced a one off gig all in the name of charity.
The Tottenham rapper has already announced a US tour and it’s only been three months since his iconic shutdown show at Ally Pally (Alexandra Palace) and Skepta isn’t stopping there!
This one off show will commence next Tuesday (April 4th) and will be held at Islington Assembly Hall where all proceeds will go toward homeless charity Shelter.
In order to be in with the chance to buy tickets, which will cost £40, you need to enter your details into a ballot on Shelter’s website. But you’d better be quick though because the ballot is only open till 10am this Thursday (March 30th). Those who are lucky will be contacted by 1pm Thursday.
Skepta speaking on the event has been quoted as saying, “I’m happy to hear the people at Shelter want me to play a show there. I am a man of the people and I can’t wait to touch down.”
