Mikel Ameen the World Changer steps out again with the visuals to his latest
Grime & Trap influenced female empowerment anthem
BOSS GIRL 101.
Sprinkled with heavy metal guitar licks and traditional african chants, Boss Girl 101 is not your typical
UK Hip Hop street banger.
In a world of male dominance and female objectification, Mikel Ameen steps forward in true London swagger to present a new style of ‘turn up’ music to celebrate the mind, body and spirit of
Black Women; as he sees them.
The video is directed by visual artist Sanaa Abstrakt and boasts an eclectic all female cast including a suprise dance cameo from chart topping artist Shingai Shoniwa (Noisettes), reperesenting the many layers to the Black Woman.
Mikel charges through the beat like a grime veteran flexing his lyrical ingenuity whilst visually playing the background allowing the
BLACK GIRL MAGIC
to take precedence throughout the visual.
The video is a masterpiece on black female representation by black men and the song is a breathe of fresh grimey London air marking a change in the way men in HipHop speak about the women around them.
