Diddy was arrested this week on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon however, the business mogul now he faces charges of three counts of assault with a deadly weapon, one count of battery of one count of making terrorist threats.
After Diddy’s son, Justin, was told not to return to UCLA for training until the end of the summer he told his dad, who was not too happy with the news. He allegedly drove down to UCLA’s Acosta Athletic Training Complex to confront strength and conditioning coach Sal Alosi.
Alosi reportedly would not speak to Diddy and told him to leave or he would call the police. Diddy allegedly said he would call the police instead and that made Alosi snap at him. TMZ reports that Diddy claims he acted in self-defence after Alosi charged at him. However, it was also reported that Alosi was on the phone and told Diddy to wait, which made him snap and swing a kettlebell, narrowly missing Alosi.
A representative for Diddy released a statement to Revolt, the cable network owned by Combs. It reads as follows:
“The various accounts of the event and charges that are being reported are wholly inaccurate. What we can say now is that any actions taken by Mr. Combs were solely defensive in nature to protect himself and his son. We are confident that once the true facts are revealed, the case will be dismissed.”
Mr. Combs was released on $50,000 bail
